FINANCING TERMS

Guarantee Costs

  • Commission on Guarantees: an annual cost charged for providing the guarantee. It is based in a percentage of the assumed risk and is typically around 1%. It is charged at the beginning of each year of the period the transaction is in effect.

  • Study Costs: charged on a one-time only basis upon the signing of the transaction. In general, it is based on 0.5% of the guarantee amount finalised.

  • Participating Contributions: to have access to the guarantees and lines of financing of any SGR, being a participating member is a required. This status is obtained by taking out the number of participating contributions to be determined by the amount of the finalised transaction. As a rule, it will be 1%, a percentage which, along with the previously mentioned costs, can fluctuate depending on the risk to be assumed according to the type of transaction involved. This will be charged upon signing the transaction. This outlay is not an expense, but rather an investment, as it means participating in the partnership capital of the AUDIOVISUAL SGR and, as such, is recoverable upon the termination of the guarantee transaction.

Financing Guarantees for Financing Institutions

The AUDIOVISUAL SGR will sign agreements with the main lending institutions with the aim, among others, of setting costs derived from providing funds. Consequently, to the previously mentioned costs for the SGR itself shall be added the following:

  • Interest Rate, which as a rule, shall not exceed the amount resulting from adding 0.5% to the annual Euribor rate.

  • Settlement Cost: as with the study cost, this is a one-time only charge at the signing of the transaction and, in general, shall be 0.5% of the final amount.
